As members of The Better Business Bureau, The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI), and the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA), you can rest assured you'll be working with professionals at the top of their industry. Ernie Sanchez CKD, CBD, CKBR, owner, and lead designer of THE DESIGN PRINCIPLE is dynamic. “For as long as I can remember I have had the ability to envision a design, draw it on paper and then build it.” As a student Ernie excelled in art, drafting and woodworking which set the foundation for him to work closely with some of the most prestigious designers and builders throughout California. But Ernie still wasn't satisfied. “As an employee of other companies I felt limited as to what I could offer my clients. I wanted to provide a more relaxed and personal environment in which to address my clients needs.” It was this motivation that inspired Ernie to build his own design/build firm. Nicole Marvin graduated with a degree in Interior Design from Sacramento State University in 2003. After satisfying her senior year internship requirement with The Design Principle, Nicole was hired as a Kitchen and Bathroom Designer. She left The Design Principle in 2005 to gain experience in other concentrations of the design industry, spending time working with Architectural Designer Ted Smith, and as the lead Designer and Project Manager for a real estate development company in San Francisco. Ultimately, Nicole returned to Sacramento in 2008, and to what is now her decidedly chosen path, Kitchen and Bathroom design at The Design Principle. |
